Butter Almond Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting

Butter Almond Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting

Since Hari Raya is just around the corner, I decided to bake something with a Raya feel. For CNY, the ang pow envelope is always RED and the decoration is always RED and GOLD. As for Hari Raya, the duit raya envelope and the decorations are mostly GREEN. So this time I go GREEN...with a green & white polka-dot cupcake cups....and some green frosting. Most of the time, during raya or any major celebrations, the refrigerator will always be packed with all sort of food and drinks....you know lah Malaysian always want to make sure that we have enough stuffs to fill up our family & guests stomach......and not forgetting the gift packs that we bring over to the host and the gift pack given to the guest in return......that's our manners being taught since young....but guess our new generation will gradually forget this......anyway time do change a lot of things over time......
And why I wanted to make Butter Almond Cake with Buttercream Frosting (so buttery) is because this type of cake DOES NOT need refrigeration.....so no matter how packed is one's refrigerator.....we can always store this Butter Almond Cupcakes at room temperature.....Hmmm.....I am getting good at this....don't I?.....thinking from more aspects before deciding on what to bake......
And here I wish everyone a Selamat Hari Raya!
