Peanut Butter Sandwich Cake


Here's the Part 2 of our after Cozy Steamboat's desserts....Peanut Butter Sandwich Cake. In Part 1, we had Honey Raisin Swiss Roll.

This Peanut Butter Sandwich Cake is a very simple and light cake yet it is fluffy and delicious. Basically it is a normal sponge cake, cut into 2 layers and spread on a layer of Whipped Cream with Peanut Butter...the proportion for this spread is 2 portion of Peanut Butter to 1 portion of Whipped Cream.

I did not frost the whole cake as I want this Sandwich Cake to be light. Beside using Peanut Butter, Fruity Jam and Kaya will be a great filling as well. This Sandwich Cake reminded my aunts' of those cakes that they had in old chinese bakery in their hometown.

That's the ending of our Family Gathering's Cozy Meals on Sunday and everyone went home happy and satisfied.
