Durian Swiss Roll
Finally I have settled all my work (or maybe 80%) before Raya holiday.....means I get to bake again after a couple of days of not being able to bake beside the 'Sumptuous Dinner' I prepared together with my sisters.
I was not so satisfied with my first successful SWISS ROLL because some of the 'skin' actually peeled off when I roll the cake. Therefore today I decided to bake it again for two reasons......1) to perfect the rolling again without the 'skin' peeling off.....2) for my in-laws who love durian......tonight my mum-in-law is going to cook her super good nasi lemak....at least they can have the cake for dessert. Tomorrow I better boil some barley water or herbal tea since me, my darling & my princess ate so much heaty food this few days. Oh and also plenty of apple cider vinegar to help burn off those fat.
Anyway back to the Durian Swiss Roll, with the assistant of a tea towel, the roll was rolled up with perfectly smooth with no cracks or 'skin' peeling. This time I also added more cream & durian paste to make it more flavourful.....
