Chicken & Mushroom Pie is a common British Pie that falls under the Comfort Foods category. It is often served in fish & chips restaurants. The top and bottom crust is usually made of puff pastry with filling made up of chicken, mushroom and sometimes pea cooked in creamy sauce.
Comfort Foods are normally high in carbohydrates, fats and sugars. For a healthier version, this time I used less butter for the crust, and for the filling I used olive oil instead of butter and low fat milk for the creamy sauce.
